Children's Communication

While my Little Tai Ko was busy with his colouring contest, my Little Hero ventured to the nearby playground. At first he was alone playing the slides, swings...and....see-saw...err...how can he play see-saw alone?
My Little Hero is quite shy at times. However, this time, he managed to get others to join him. He didn't talk to the others. All he did was...stared at one of the children (to get attention) then waved and point his finger at the see-saw. The next thing is, this little che-che (sister) joined him.

You see, I am so impressed with what my Little Hero had done. Communication does not mean talking only. Eye contact and gestures played a big role in our daily communications.

Little Tai Ko is Little Chef

My Little Tai Ko is attending his School Holidays Class. On 20 November 2008, they actually played Little Chefs in school. So, Little Tai Ko prepared (not cook or baked) this Mini Pizza. It is actually ready-made pizza crust. Little Tai Ko did the topping assisted by his teacher. And this is how it looks.... I did not get to taste it as Little Tai Ko had accidentally dropped his pizza to the floor... What a waste....

Colouring Contest

My Little Tai Ko participated in a colouring contest on 14 November 2008. This is actually his second participation in colouring contest. Though his colouring "masterpiece" not up to the standard, but I am proud of him for his courage to join the contest.
I actually want him to mix around and learn to socialise with his peers. However, I think what he like most is receiving a participation souvenir from the organiser.

...and this is my Little Tai Ko's colouring work for his first contest...

Wabak...

"Wabak"... That's the answer given by the paediatrician. My Little Tai Ko is down with diarrhoea and vomitting since yesterday. No solid food gets digested as each time he eats, then he vomits.

According to the paeds, it is most likely that germs intruded his tummy. And it is only natural for his body system to remove these germs by vomitting and "low sai". We need to give him plenty of water and nourish him with glucose and 100Plus. I can understand the pain he is going through as he actually turned down our offer to buy him Rocky biscuits (his favourite biscuits)...

My Little Hero is not too good either. Our paeds in Kuantan diagnosed him for having allergic cough. As such, Little Hero is on medication and have to "pausa" on most of his favourite foods....sweets, calci-yum, potato chips, etc.

There is nothing much we can do other than BE PATIENT...
